R&G Racing design and manufacture a growing range of ground-breaking bolt-on motorcycle accessories, the core of the business being crash protectors.
Originally developed back in 2005 using ASP.NET 1.1, the R&G Racing website is a great example of the PCMS Commerce solution (ECommerce Content Management Solution).
In addition to the now standard online ecommerce functionality, product comparisons, order tracking and contact facilities, the R&G website also features 3D product tours and installation guides. It is also worth noting that the R&G website is fully integrated in to an offline accounting package (de Facto) allowing R&G staff to minimise the admin time required to fulfil and account for online orders.
As the R&G website is fully updatable by R&G staff via a secure online content management system there is no additional cost associated with adding new products and content. As a result, the website has continued to grow along with the product range ever since it’s launch.
