The World Stands Up is a television showcase for some of the finest stand up comedians from around the world. Aired in three continents on Paramount, BBC America and The Comedy Channel, each episode is crammed full of comedians from the likes of Mitch Benn, Ed Byrne, Dara O'Briain, Rhod Gilbert, Tim Minchin, Marcus Brigstocke and Gina Yashere to name but a few. Prime Web Solutions was approached in 2006 and commissioned to produce an easy to use content management system that would allow administrators the facility to completely manage and update various content and multimedia elements throughout the website. As the website was to be 100% flash based yet was still required to be completely search engine friendly it was a challenge that Prime Web Solutions were excited about… and glad to meet. The World Stands Up is a prime example (no pun intended) of just how flexible the PCMS content management solution can be. In-house staff at The World Stands up have control over every element on the website from streaming video, MP3 radio content and artist biographies to the management of the website text content and the banner advertising that features throughout the website. Prime Web Solutions have been in constant communications with The World Stands Up since the launch of the website with a view to add several new area of functionality including user forums and public video uploads.
